Cornelscourt glass offers a full range of glass and glazing products to the domestic and commercial sector. All products are available to order and collect. We offer a full measuring and fitting service also. With over 30 years experience in the industry we are always on hand to help advise you on what is the best glazing product for your project.

 

Float Glass

Float glass is tradionally used in single, double and triple glazed windows. Here at Cornelscourt Glass we keep a full stock of 2mm, 4mm, 6mm and 8mm clear glass.

It is not permited to use float glass in glazing under 800mm from the finished floor, glazed doors or glazing adjacent to doors. In these instances safety glass must be used.

Mirrors

Cornelscourt glass offers a wide range of mirror products from standard silver mirror to tinted mirror and antique mirror.

Double & Triple glazed units

Here at Cornelscourt glass we offer a full range of double and triple glazed units from standard float glass units to high performance A- RATED units. All units can be produced with a varity of glass types like low E/solar controlled glass, toughened/laminated safety glass, obscure/patterned glass, tinted/satinised glass and can include things like internal georgain bar.

Toughened and laminated glass

Although Toughened glass and laminated glass are two different types of glass they are both classed as safety glass.

Toughened glass is regular float glass that goes through a heating and cooling cycle that makes the glass approximately 5 times stronger to impact resistance than the regular float. It can also withstand a higher temperature rang than standard float glass.

Toughened available in 4mm, 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, 15mm and 19mm

Laminated glass is 2 panels of glass permanently bonded together. The interlayers creates a strong glass product that holds together should it break.

Laminated available in 6.4mm, 8.8mm, 10.4mm and 11.5mm laminated 

Toughened glass can be used in the formation of laminated glass creating a safety glass with improved overall strength for use in glass balustrades, glass stairs and glass floors.

Fire rated glass

We offer fire rated glass for use in fire resistant glazing. Can be supplied with 30min or 60min to provide a proven resistance to fire.

Painted glass

Although widely used as kitchen splashbacks it is not limited to this application, it has a wide range of uses such as tabletop glass and glass panels in showers instead of tiles. It can be colour matched to any RAL number so can be used to complement any design. 

Robax stove glass

Robax stove glass is specially formulated to withstand the extreme heat generated by a solid fuel burning stove.
